Everything you need to know before your tattoo...
CUSTOM only

The Design Process
When booking in for your tattoo, you should already have the idea of the perfect tattoo for you in mind. To help accurately convey this to your artist, feel free to send reference images of what you would like, including where on the body you’d like it and what size. Keep in mind this should only be used as inspiration, as every tattoo we create is custom designed. We also ask that any design ideas are sent over at least two weeks prior to the tattoo appointment date, to leave enough time to review and finalise the design.
Stay hydrated and eat well
Staying hydrated and having a proper meal before your session is essential. Tattooing can take time, and your body will need the energy to stay comfortable throughout the process. A full stomach and plenty of water will help you feel your best during your appointment.
What not to do
Avoid drinking alcohol and sunbathing the days before your tattoo, as these can increase bleeding. Skip the heavy workout or sunbathing the day before and the day of your appointment—sweaty, sunburned skin isn’t ideal for tattooing. And of course, steer clear of anything that might irritate the skin.
What to wear
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that give easy access to the area you’re getting tattooed. Keep in mind that ink and ointments can sometimes stain clothing, so choose something that’s not too precious. If your tattoo is on a tricky spot, feel free to ask us for suggestions on what to wear.
What to bring with you
Bring a valid ID, your payment method, and any references or inspiration you’d like to show your artist. If your session is longer, snacks and a water bottle are always a good idea. Having something to keep you entertained during the process—like a book or headphones—can also help pass the time.
Can I bring people with me?
We understand you may want a friend for support, but for the comfort of our artists and other clients, we ask that you limit it to one person. Keep in mind, our space is designed to be focused, so it’s important that any guest remains quiet and respectful during the session.
